Our private villa is located near the beautiful shores of Lake Arenal, one of Costa Rica’s most scenic regions. Surrounded by lush hills, tropical greenery, lake views, and the nearby Arenal Volcano area, the setting offers a peaceful retreat while still being close to some of Costa Rica’s most beloved adventures.
Lake Arenal has a warm, tropical highland climate. Days are typically comfortable and pleasant, with fresh mornings, warm afternoons, and cooler evenings. Because this is a lush, green region, passing rain showers can happen throughout the year, especially during the green season. Guests should come prepared for both sunshine and occasional tropical rain.
We recommend lightweight clothing, comfortable walking shoes, a swimsuit, sunscreen, sunglasses, insect repellent, and a light rain jacket or umbrella. A light sweater or wrap is also useful for breezy evenings by the lake. Guests who enjoy wildlife and scenery may also want to bring binoculars and a camera.
